Written for day 7 of the St. Non's Retreat, 13th June 2025.
What is it to live the full embodied expression of the divine?
It is to bow to the sacred within you.
Not as an abstract truth,
but as the living, breathing presence
that wears your face.
It is to let the Beloved sing through you
in the way only it can.
With your voice,
your rhythm,
your softness,
your fire,
your laughter,
your ache.
To live the full embodied expression of the divine is to realise you are not a copy. You are not a mistake. You are a one-of-a-kind fragrance of God's own being. A note in the great symphony that no one else can play.
It is to offer that fragrance to the world without holding back.
To live this way
is to let God dance in your bones,
fall in your tears,
tremble in your terrors,
live and be known in your power,
speak through your voice,
express through your actions,
and rest in your silence.
To let the sacred take shape as your hands,
your feet,
your gaze that says, "I see you."

It is not about getting it right.
It's about getting out of the way,
surrendering at the feet of life
so that what you truly are may shine through unabated.
This is not a performance.
It is a prayer in motion.
A life surrendered to its source,
And lived from the inside out.
The divine does not need you to be someone else.
It longs to be known as YOU.
The unique human-ness flavour,
only you carry.
The vibration only your soul can sing.
And when you live from that...
When you give yourself fully to that...
You become a living darshan.
A light of the divine.
A living temple of the heart, of the way.
A living YES.
You become the way Love knows itself...
Not in theory,
but in form.
This is the invitation.
This is the remembering.
This is the gift.
This is the way home.

I don’t have much
to offer to the world
But I feel the vibration
of my heart
expanding
In every vessel
of my body
Let me, Esther
allow me in the lowest
of the lowest
let me heal
