Sacred Threads II: Out Today
I’m very happy to announce that my new book Sacred Threads: Collected Writings II is out today, 12th April 2026. You can purchase your copy through Amazon, either the eBook or Print versions, or you can contact me directly to order a copy.
The series Sacred Threads has long been something I felt was going to be published… a gathering of threads, pieces written over the years that would come together into something larger. The first book was released last year and this one followed much sooner than I expected.
What made this one harder than the first wasn’t the writing, it was the choosing. I started with 117 pieces and brought it down to 68… sitting with each one, feeling whether it belonged, switching things in and out right up until the final version was ready to publish.
There’s something about that process that changes the relationship to the work. When a piece is written and shared, it’s released. When it’s gathered, it’s seen again. Felt again. Placed in relationship with everything around it. Some pieces fall away. Some take on a different weight. And something in me had to stay with that process without rushing to decide.
What’s here now feels true to that.
A little more direct. A little more willing to go into the places we might otherwise step around. I didn’t plan the fiery quality of this book, I only noticed it when I read through the titles of the pieces and thought… there’s a lot of fire in here. Perhaps it mirrors the times we’re living in.
A small thing worth knowing: not everything in this book has appeared on Substack. A few pieces have never been shared publicly before, a few have been edited or re-worked. They found their place here, in the gathering, rather than arriving alone.
I’ve included the recording from the celebration gathering earlier this week where I read several pieces aloud. A small, quiet gathering — nothing polished, just the words spoken into the space they came from.
You may recognise the pieces. Or hear them differently now that they’re held within something larger.
Either way… it’s the same thread.
If you read the book and feel moved to leave a review on Amazon, it makes a real difference to its visibility. Thank you.
